How do I know if my riser needs replacement rather than another repair?
If leaks keep returning in the same section, water is discoloured, or pressure is inconsistent across floors, the pipework may be deteriorating internally. A site inspection can confirm corrosion, weak joints, or scaling that makes replacement the safer option.
Will the water need to be shut off during riser or crane replacement?
Yes, the supply must be isolated to remove and install components safely. We plan the shut off window, drain down where needed, and restore service as quickly as possible after testing.
Can you replace a seized or leaking crane tap without changing the whole valve line?
In many cases we can replace the tap or valve body and add a new isolation point if access allows. If the surrounding pipe is corroded or joints are failing, we may recommend replacing a short section to ensure a reliable seal.
